Grassroots Advocate Award
The Grassroots Advocate Award is presented to an
individual person, group or an organization in Maine that has
provided leadership at a grassroots level and increased awareness of the
importance of breast health within their sphere of influence
or the community at large by:
- Conducting an outreach program for
employees
- Providing materials to increase
awareness
- Providing incentives to encourage
self-care
Those eligible include:
- Individuals not related to the
healthcare profession or industry
- Maine businesses (large and small,
including retailers, distributors, manufacturers) not
directly in the healthcare profession or industry
- Nonprofit organizations (large and
small)
