Medical Care and Research Award
The Medical Care and Research Award
is presented to a healthcare professional or an
organization in the healthcare and allied industries that
have gone above and beyond the call of duty to make a
positive contribution to, or difference in, the treatment of
breast cancer by:
- Increasing knowledge/treatment of the
disease through research
- Improving patient
care/treatment/support
- Increasing awareness of /education
about/advocacy for breast cancer treatments
Those eligible include:
- Health professionals (doctors,
nurses, researchers and others)
- Health organizations (hospitals,
research institutes, pharmaceutical companies,
pharmacies, etc.)
- Non-profits in the health industry
