Outreach and Education Award
The
Outreach and Education Award is presented to an
individual
person or an organization in the communications industry
that demonstrated leadership in promoting awareness of
breast health (through the “power of the press”) in Maine
by:
- Maintaining or improving awareness of an existing
program or project
- Creating or implementing a new program or project to
increase awareness of
breast cancer/breast health
Those eligible include:
- Media
outlets (TV, radio stations and print outlets)
- Organizations (community-based,
non-profits, healthy community coalitions)

Advertising, marketing, public relations firms
